waves

Crab fishermen or the Capitan/Navagator use information on Waves to not only plot were to set equitment to catch crab, but to choose were to sail. Using this information can result in a very profitable harvest numbering in hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollers. But failing to use this information can result in a bad harvest or even the loss of the boat and all hands aboard.

Winds and Currents

Wind blows due to the coliolus effect, otherwise known as Earth's rotation. The wind in turn effects the currents by blowing over it and transfuring energy into the water. these currents in turn flow along the major wind routs, stopping only when they in counter a contanent

Coral

Coral, dispite its hard exterior, comes under regular attack from the Spieny Star Fish. Having no protection, the coral is forced to rely on small crabs living within it's structure. The crabs attack the vunrable underside of the Starfish with their powerful pichers and force the starfish to flee.

Arctic fox

The Arctic Fox makes a its home in where else but the Arctic. its white fur alows it to blend in with the snow and ice so as to be hidden from larger preditors. their fur can even change color as the snow melts in the summer, again another sign of their ability to adapt and blend in.

Folowing the equator from Somalia to Sumatra reveled a ton of info about the sea floor. our route passed over four plates: African, Indian, Astrailan, and Eurasian. the deepest point at 5000 meters oucurred near the Male islands, possibly due to the faults in the area.

Open

The movie was very good, even better then the planet earth movies. Best part was about the fish that would eat the bateria off other fish, useually hiding out around floating debrie. amazingly these large fish are able to find and eat the bateria growing and fish that can be larger then themselves. Even birds can help in getting the nasty stuff off.
